Secrets of the Penguins

I spent 6 weeks at sea in early 2024 sailing from Patagonia to Antarctica to dive and film for this one. It was my first time meeting Leopard seals underwater, they have quite a reputation and I was somewhat intimidated but turns out they have a toothy smile but are generally pretty well behaved.

We had chartered the smallest yacht in the fleet and living conditions were tough but the scenery, adventure and company made up for it. The changing light and weather rolled across this colossal landscape. Penguins rule this ice kingdom and the series has some fascinating insights into the lives of these underwater flying birds.
